Your First Treatment (New Clients)

• When you book your first treatment, you will receive an email and automated text to confirm the appointment, along with details of where to come.
• Payment is taken after your treatment (all major cards accepted), or you can request a payment link/credit online if you prefer to pay in advance/save for your treatment.
• You will be sent a reminder by email and WhatsApp before your appointment.
• When you arrive, we will carry out a full consultation together to ensure you get the very best out of your treatment. I will outline what to expect depending on the therapy you have booked, and make sure you are comfortable.
• There is a separate bathroom where you will change whilst I prepare the therapy room.
• Please let me know in advance if you have sensitivity to certain smells or fabrics, and if you prefer quiet (no music).

Subsequent Treatments (Existing Clients)

For subsequent treatments, we will have a brief consultation to discuss any contra-actions following your previous massage therapy, and then tailor your next therapies accordingly. Your details will be checked and updated, if necessary, each year.

After Care

After your treatment, your body will naturally continue to respond to the treatment.

• Drink plenty of water - to aid with expelling toxins and to stay hydrated.
• Stay relaxed - continue to reduce stress levels but don't be too still; keep gently moving and stretching muscles.
• Avoid alcohol, caffeine and smoking - help your body to release toxins; don't add to them.
• Book another treatment - regular massage/Reflexology/MLD works best; keep looking after your body and mind.

You may experience the following (particularly if you are new to the treatment), which typically last no longer than 24 hours as your body continues to respond to your treatment:

• Slight headache/nausea.
• More frequent visits to the toilet.
• Vivid dreams.
• Emotional release.
• Symptoms worsening before getting better.
